Get rid of Tonsillitis in the Ayurvedic way!


At the back of the throat, two section of protruding tissue, called Tonsils are present. They act as filters, trap the microorganisms that get into the airways that cause septicity. They also produce antibodies to fight the same. Sneezing, allergies, sore throat, coughing, running nose, dryness in the vocal channel is something all of us experience during the changing weather. 

Be it the CEO of the MNCs, the workers working under him/her or the aspiring employees, no one can play the cheat game. Yes, it is the change in lifestyle these days that we often fall prey to these seasonal infections and certain precautions must always come next. This infection is mainly due to excessive intake of cold and frozen foods, chocolate, spices, fried. But, what if you already had those microbes break in and lined up is your declamation competition or a presentation!! No worries,

Here are few Ayurvedic medicines for treating tonsils and other seasonal allergies, from Patanjali :

  • Take fifty gm Trikut powder and 5-5 gm 45 and mica bhasma and mix them together and if the problem is severe then also add one gram VasantmaltiRas and take the quantity of it equal to a grain of gram and mix it in honey and administer.
  • Take 1-2 tablets of Lavandagivati thrice in a day (chew or with lukewarm water or as directed by the physician.) 
  • Take 5 to 10 ml of Divya Swasari Pravahi in a day. 
  • 1-4 g of mulethi churna twice or thrice daily empty stomach with lukewarm water or milk or as directed by the Physician. 
  • Take half or one spoon of Trikatu churna, empty stomach or after meals, in morning and evening with tepid water or as directed by the physician. 
  • Mix 10-20ml of Tulsi Panchang Juice with water & consume 2-3 times after meal or use as directed by the physician 
  • Take 1-2 tablets of Sanjeevani Vati twice a day after meals with water or milk or as directed by the physician. 
  • When you are on the go, just pop in Divya cooling mint cough drops. It temporarily stops coughs and lubricates and soothe irritated tissues of the throat. 
  • Well, consistent gargling with warm salty water is an age-old remedy which always proves wonder. And speaking less will for sure save a lot of energy and lessen the irritation caused.
